Randi!
She is the Hustle owner. She will be hosting the event! She has been dancing, teaching, choreographing and mentoring dancers for 35+ years. She is a police officer of 20+ years, but dance is her passion and she loves all things wellness related. Spreading positivity is important to her and making sure everyone feels valued and seen.
Jayden!
He has been dancing for 10+ years and has been coaching and tumbling for 5+ years. He is the owner of JJ Dance Academy and is the cheer coach at Cyprus High School. He was a professional dancer and danced several seasons with the Utah Jazz Dance Team.
Sage!
He began training in dance at age 7. In High School he made the Copper Hills Dance Company, where he developed his love of choreographing and intention through art creation. He now dances with the Salt Lake Community Colleges Dance Company. Sage has choreographed numerous pieces for his own teams, many concerts, and basketball half-time shows such as Salt Lake City Stars. Sage’s experience of dance has been crafted through years of dancing on competition teams, deep study of modern dance and its use of time, space and energy. Sage’s passion in dance lives within a place of deep creativity and human connection through its art form. Dance has always been a huge part of his world and, in turn, a major influence on his way of expression. “ Dance is rebellion, Dance is the expression of the soul, Dance is one of the purest form of human emotion. “ He is best known for his macabre and eccentric storytelling through choreography. His mission within the realm of dance is to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone as well as use dance as a form of healing for others and themselves.
Karsen!
He is a dancer, choreographer, and creative visionary. His started his journey in dance at age 6 and is trained in various styles such as Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Jazz. In 2023, he delved into choreography, crafting pieces for both his high school and studio. Despite losing his lower left leg in a lawnmower accident at age 3, Karsen’s passion, resilience, and relentless work ethic drive his ongoing love for dance and artistic growth. He is currently mentored by Menina Fortunato in her ‘Business of Dance’ program, he’s forging connections and honing skills crucial for success in the dance community. He has previously been mentored by Blake McGrath in the fall of 2024, where he got to learn a large variety choreography and technical skills from working industry professionals such as Kelly Sweeney, Ell Horan, Brian Friedman, Shannon Mather, Erika Klein and more! With aspirations to impact the dance world through teaching and choreography on local and national stages, Karsen aims to challenge stereotypes and redefine industry norms. His journey epitomizes innovation, perseverance, and creativity, poised to leave an enduring legacy in the hearts and minds of all who encounter his work.
